Burnside Primary School is now part of the TREEmendous family!

Through planting hundreds of native trees, adding seating, worm farms and native edible plants, the school has transformed a previously unused area of the grounds into a new outdoor learning space.

Some students are still battling with the aftermath of the Christchurch terrorist attack and the school hopes that the new space will also be a place of solace in times of stress and anxiety.

School staff, students, the wider Christchurch community, Mazda Foundation trustees and the team from Project Crimson are all thrilled with the wonderful learning space they have created.
