A small school with a big passion for the environment, Nuhaka planted a large native garden to increase birdlife in the area, develop plant propagation skills and promote sustainability.

The native garden was just one step in a five year project to restore land neighbouring the School. Future plans included a walkway through the new space, a nursery to eco source seeds, seating, and educational signage so students can easily identify the native trees.
