Te Uku School

3436 State Highway 23, Raglan

Te Uku School has become a TREEmendous School after transforming a neglected area of its grounds by planting hundreds of native trees and plants.

The school plans to use the all-new learning zone to teach students how to identify native plants, birds, lizards and insects and educate them about disease, weed and pest control and other issues surrounding the conservation of fauna and flora in New Zealand.

Teachers, students, the wider community as well as Mazda Ambassadors, Foundation Trustees and the team from Project Crimson all mucked in to help plant over 800 native trees.
